The Sahara Desert is a large desert in North Africa. It is the largest hot desert on Earth. The Sahara extends from Algeria to Libya and covers parts of Mauritania, Morocco, Western Sahara, Tunisia and Egypt.

The Sahara Desert has been home to many civilizations over the years. Ancient Egyptians settled in the region more than 4 000 years ago and later on other cultures followed suit.

Morocco is a country with a long history

. It is located in northern Africa and has an area of 44,500 square miles. It shares borders with Algeria, Western Sahara, and Spain

Morocco has been inhabited by humans since the Neolithic period. The country was first mentioned in historical records circa 8600 BC.

Morocco’s most famous landmark is the Great Mosque, which was built in the 11th century.
